Taking a holiday with your beloved canine doesn’t mean that you need to scrimp on style - this fantastic accommodation is a delight for human and hound alike and even has a shared hot tub for the ultimate treat. Set within over 80 acres of grounds, this rural retreat sleeps six guests along with two very good boys or girls, offering a vantage point for all those countryside adventures you’ll soon be enjoying.
Simply presented with contemporary decor and comfortable furniture, the property has plenty of features that will appeal to anyone with canine companions, including wipe-clean floors downstairs, a large garden and ample space for a cosy basket. Curl up on the sofas to watch films over buttery popcorn and prepare delicious meals in the spacious kitchen/diner, gathering around the table to feast like kings. Climb the stairs to find three bedrooms and the family bathroom, which has a shower-over-the-bath for hosing down muddy paws. Your outside space is perfect for BBQ suppers, but take care of curious pups with a reputation for wandering as the lawn is not enclosed. Younger guests can arrange to play ball games in one of the fields, and there are lots of sheep grazing nearby so be sure to keep the leads handy. The friendly owner is happy to advise of the best places to spot rare birds and wildlife.
Crychan Forest is an enchanting destination for a woodland adventure 7 miles away, where you can pad along a myriad of trails and take in the beautiful scenery. Overlooked by the imposing peak of the Black Mountain, peaceful Llandovery 5.5 miles away acts as a pit stop en route to the western edge of the Brecon Beacons where you can visit castle ruins and an array of independent shops and eateries.
