Enjoy a revitalising dose of East Sussex countryside during your stay in this rural nature retreat surrounded by towering trees and wildflowers with a small pond nearby. Romance will come easy in this charming wooden lodge with hand-crafted oak furnishings and an alfresco dining spot with a chiminea. Take your four-legged friends on an adventure in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where you’ll find historical landmarks, nature reserves and science walking trails.
Step inside this cosy single-storey wooden lodge to find a well-sized open-plan living space with a wooden beamed ceiling, a wide window which lets in plenty of natural light and a touch of green throughout the decor. The lounge area offers a plump sofa which benefits from views of the trees outside and sits in front of the TV. To the left is a compact, galley-style fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar on the peninsula. Continue into the double bedroom with a continued green and wooden theme to match the property’s surroundings – using wood salvaged from the farm after a storm in 1987. The shower room contains a walk-in shower and twin basins. Outside is a covered veranda with furniture and a chiminea.
