This is the third time that we have been to this place. 2nd time in Moorhen Lodge. Wonderful quiet place, excellent fishing and a great place for walks with a dog (which we did a lot). What a super place. The lodge was warm and clean and the fishing was great when the weather allowed. Over the good days I caught circa 20 carp (mirror and common) between 6.5 and 8.5lb and lost a couple of bigger ones. Well situated with lots of places to visit and eat.

The lodge was clean, warm and very comfortable. Everything worked as it should and the level of equipment was spot on. We were unlucky in that the weather was dreadful during our stay, so we didn't make much use of the outside areas. The fishing was a little slow for my liking, but the weather reduced the opportunity to try different lakes.
