You will rustle up delicious picnics in the well-equipped kitchen to take on your beach walkies – not forgetting some pup treats too! Sandy paws and toes will not be a problem with a handy washing machine and jet spray shower available; you will be fresh as a daisy in no time. As the sun goes down, the inviting sofas encourage you to get lost in a book as your beached-out hounds snooze at your feet.
Salty sea dogs will love the chance to stretch their legs on Westward Ho!’s beach (11 miles), with 2 miles of sandy shore, there will be plenty of opportunities for some bucket and spade action too. Chow down on some freshly caught fish and chips as you watch the sunset from Instow beach (12 miles) and demolish a clotted cream ice cream. Explore the picturesque cobbled streets of Clovelly (3 miles) which welcomes dogs on leads. The village is steeped in history but, be aware, the walk down to the harbour is steep so wear sensible shoes!
