Pup pals and pumpkins FAQs

Of course you can! Not all pumpkin patches are dog-friendly, but below we’ve outlined a few of our favourites that welcome our canine pals.

Tulleys Farm, Country Pumpkins, Parley Pumpkin Patch – we’ve got a whole list below of wonderful pumpkin patches that welcome dogs.

While pumpkins are not toxic to dogs, the stems are toxic, and the pumpkin rind can cause gastric issues. Cooked pumpkins are often added to dog foods as a treat. Feeding your dog lots of pumpkins can give them too much vitamin A, which is dangerous for our four-pawed friends.

Raw pumpkins are safe to lick, but if eaten, the tough, fibrous texture can cause a choking hazard. The stems have small, thorny hairs that can be irritating to your dog's digestive tract.
