Pet-friendly cottages & accommodation in Bridlington, Yorkshire
It’s not just beaches in Bridlington! While this bright and breezy coastal town is one of Yorkshire’s coastal gems with its elegant promenades, historic harbour and sandy beaches, there is much more to discover. With the Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast only a couple of miles away and the North York Moors National Park within easy driving distance, proper dog-walking country is never far away.
Having said that, Bridlington Beach is one that water-loving hounds won’t forget - its miles of sand and shingle beach boasting fantastic views of the chalk cliffs of Flamborough Head. Though there are summer restrictions in place, the rest of the year is the perfect time for your pooch to have a run along the sands and a splash in the shallows, wind in their fur as they work out whether they dare put their nose in a tempting rock pool. The more refined canine will find that dog-watching along the promenade by the South Beach is a far better option. A couple of miles down the Yorkshire Coast, the very canine-friendly Fraisthorpe Beach with its cafes stocking doggy ice lollies and sausages is a must-visit and in Bridlington itself, there is a dog-friendly land train, boat trip and various restaurants that allow your four-legged friend.
We have personally picked our dog-friendly accommodation to make sure that it’s suitable for all hounds. Have a paw through our portfolio of cottages in and around Bridlington and find your perfect holiday!
