For a seaside holiday your furry friends will love, stay at this bright and stylish apartment in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. Sleeping six, it’s ideal for families or groups of friends with up to two dogs welcome. You’ll be excellently placed for morning walks along the promenade or sandy paws on the beach just 50 metres from the front door, making this a wonderful spot for energetic pets.

This single-storey retreat has ramped access to its front door and a light, spacious layout throughout. The living room has a bay window, comfy seating and a Smart TV – lovely for relaxing with your furry friends after days out in the fresh air. The kitchen/diner includes a lowered worktop for ease of use and plenty of room for prepping group meals and canine feasts. Along the hallway are three welcoming bedrooms: two doubles – one with an en-suite bathroom – and a twin. The double and twin share a generous, fully tiled wet room. While there’s no private garden, the golden sands opposite provide the ultimate playground for pets (please check for restrictions in summer). One parking space is available directly outside.

You’ll be in a convenient central spot with Bridlington’s town centre and harbour just 0.5 miles away, offering shops, pubs and cafés. Fancy a day out? Head to Sewerby Hall and Gardens where dogs on leads are welcome in many areas, including a section of the café. Bempton Cliffs (5.5 miles) are excellent for walks, views and birdwatching, while the charming seaside towns of Filey (11 miles) and Scarborough (18 miles) make lovely day trips along the coast.

The apartment is in a very good location, not far from the town and the beach is just across the road. The furniture is comfortable and the heating is very efficient. The parking space is at the back entrance to the property and difficult to find on arrival. The apartment can sleep six people but there are only four places at the dining table. WeRead more did not need it, but there is equipment for people disabilities. The outside of the property is quite shabby, but inside is light and clean, but we didnt find it very homely. A good base however. We enjoyed visits to the old town, Bayle Museum, Sewerby Hall and Bempton Cliffs. There are dozens of fish and chips restaurants. We found the Naked Fish very good with a huge variety of fish and seafoods. Hide
