Pet-friendly cottages, lodges, castles and more
Angus is a haven of outdoor activities, making it the perfect base for a holiday with your dog. And since most of the properties in this collection welcome more than one pet, everybody gets to come on holiday.
Choose between charming shepherd huts, quaint boltholes, cosy cottages and even a grand castle. We've handpicked the properties in this collection to ensure that you and your four-legged best friend have the most unforgettable experience – whatever that means to you.
We have self-catering properties perfect for a romantic break, reunions for family, friends and even complexes so everybody gets a place of their own. Whatever reason you're planning a trip, there's something to suit.
And then there's the features. From enclosed gardens for Fido to sniff around in, to wood burners to enjoy after your day’s exploration. For yourselves, choose somewhere that has a hot tub, tennis court, fishing, or even spa facilities. Use the filter to whittle down your choices and book your dream holiday in Angus – all with your beloved dog by your side.
Your Angus holiday itinerary
There's so much to do in this area of East Scotland. Here are some of our favourites:
A trip to Arbroath to try the much-loved Arbroath Smokie is a must! This delicacy has PGI status, meaning you can only find it within 5 miles of the town. Once you're full, you and Fido are ready for your next adventure.
For beach-loving pups, we recommend a visit to Carnoustie beach, where dogs are allowed year-round. Dig in the sand and splash in the waves before taking a stroll to the Buddon Ness Lighthouses.
Speaking of w-a-l-k-i-e-s, the Montrose Basin is another great day out. Ran by the Scottish Wildlife Trust, they welcome pets on the reserve walks. Keep your eyes peeled for seals, waders and wildfowl year-round, as well as Kingfishers if you're there between September and February and ospreys between May and September.
However you spend your break in Angus, our range of cottages are sure to be the perfect base. Browse our collection and book your dream trip today.
