This luxurious, single-storey detached lodge offers a bright and spacious open-plan living experience. The comfortable lounge area with wood burner, is the ideal place to relax with your loved one and your pooch. Enjoy a meal in the lovely dining area, taking in the splendid views over the front garden. The master king-size bedroom with TV also offers wonderful views over the garden and surrounding countryside. The fully secure front garden with seating area is ideal for your pets to play, and a wonderful place for you to enjoy al fresco dining with birdsong and a view.

Nestled in a peaceful setting within walking distance of the East Haven coastline, the area has splendid sandy beaches with rock pools to explore. Only 3 miles from Carnoustie, famed for its championship golf course, you can also enjoy water sports including windsurfing, canoeing and sailing in the town’s large shallow bay. Within easy reach of the historic town of Arbroath (5 miles), famed for the Arbroath Smokie, visit its splendid abbey, historic harbour, long sandy beaches and spectacular sandstone cliffs. Lunan Bay (14 miles) has an extensive sandy beach fronted by dunes, where your doggy pals deserve the joy of running free. The vibrant city of Dundee (14 miles) provides excellent shopping and leisure facilities. The immediate area is perfect for dog-walking, cycling, and hiking with wonderful coastal paths, woodland walks and country trails nearby.

Although a very small property it was ideally located providing a good base to visit many attractions.

Cottage was in a great location. Very quiet and peaceful. Enclosed garden perfect for the dog.Very well equipped clean and comfortable. Will certainly consider returning and would highly recommend it.

Cottages was lovely, great location , felt like it gave you a "hug" when you walked in. Had a great much needed short break, relaxing and comfortable. Will definitely be back

A lovely, characterful, homely property in a beautiful location. Very close to some beautiful beaches and costal walks. The property is finished and furnished to a high standard and is very homely and cozy in feel. I would have no hesitation in returning or recommending the property.

Super lodge. Parking outside, safely fenced yard accessed by a little gate. There was a lovely welcome pack (including fresh milk) for humans and hounds. A basket with dog towels and doggie food bowels provided. The lodge was warm and inviting and spotlessly clean. Lots of big fluffy towels provided rather than the tiny ones often supplied. Hatton Lodge is very cosy and comfortable, with a secure garden, and lots of lovely walks nearby - particularly East Haven Beach and the coastal path. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Lovely cosy Lodge perfect for 2 of us & our 2 collies, they didn't want to come home. Great to have a secure garden and also use of the owners stunning garden. Great location for visiting local beach (exceptionally clean) Carnoustie 5mins away, Arbroath, Lunan Bay, Arbroath Cliff Trail, Glamis Castle & Gardens are all worth a visit. Please go and stay at this lovely lodge, perfect for dog walks. Best welcome pack, very comfortable in every aspect. Very private too, didn't see the owners, but only because there was no need to. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone. We would love to return 5stars

We love this cottage and have already visited twice and hoping for a 3rd visit. Beautifully appointed , clean and comfy. It is a wonderful retreat. A lovely welcome pack is included including a bottle of bubbly! The dog loved garden and local walks and the owners provide a dog welcome pack with towels and treats for them too. Lovely cottage conveniently located for exploring the seaside and the towns and villages of Angus and Fife. Well equipped with everything needed to make both humans and their canine companions comfortable. As escapees from the city, we appreciated being surrounded by lovely gardens and farmland and the wildlife (birds, squirrels, rabbits) kept the Read moredoggo entertained for hours. Super lacation for excursions - a very cosy en well equiped Lodge - the nights are very quite - you can enjoy birdwatching in your own little garden or walk in the nice garden of the owners. We are all over the moon :-)

Hatton Lodge had everything for us to have had truly wonderful break away. From welcome goodies to logs for wood burner on arrival. It was cosy , peaceful setting but easy reach of places of interest. Nice safe coastal walks to Carnoustie or Arbroath good bus service passing lodge.

Hatton Lodge was a cosy, well equipped cottage. There were lovely beaches and forest walks nearby which our spaniel loved. There were plenty of places to visit and explore and the takeaways in Carnoustie were good if you did not want to cook. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend the Lodge.

Love this little cottage and it's location, plenty of good walks with great views, some on the doorstep others within 10 -40 mins drive. The cottage is relaxing and well presented with everything you need.

Our second visit to Hatton Lodge and we hope to return again. The Lodge is very comfortable and is ideally placed for visits to nearby Carnoustie and Arbroath. It is very quiet and relaxing and the garden area was perfectly secure for our two Border Terriers. We never tired of watching the range of birds attracted to the feeders. Hatton Lodge is a lovely property in a perfect location for us visiting family in Dundee. The Lodge is well organised for 2 people and 2 dogs.
