Willow Cottage is ideally equipped for those who like activities and a quiet location. Self catering is a definite option as one has to be brave to negotiate the steep horseshoe bends several times a day if you want to keep going out. To be fair we knew from the cottage write-up it may be challenging. We were very comfortable and even when there waRead mores power cut in the morning the owner came round with a conciliatory bottle of something fizzy. Hide

This magnificent cottage is the perfect place to be when wanting scenery, tranquility, and quietness. We could not fault anything about it. The landlords have done a tremendous job on getting everything just right for any couples wanting that romantic setting. Many of the reviews mention the journey getting to the cottage. I agree its through narroRead morew lanes and steep. But after a few trips in and out, you get used to the journey. The end product is worth any bumpy ride. Overall, a Superb weekend. Hide

Clean, well equiped and comfortable cottage. Roads to and from cottage alittle rugged and steep, dodging the sheep on the narrow track was intetesting. Very peaceful and quiet.

Willow Cottage is a cosy retreat. We sat out for breakfast most mornings. Great walking options from the cottage or a short drive away. Crickhowell (nearest town a couple of miles away) is renown for its independent shops where we were able to buy all our provisions for the week. We especially liked the Zero Waste shop - take empty plastic containeRead morers to fill. A real plus for us was being able to charge our electric car using the outside socket at the cottage. Hide

What a wonderful property in a fantastic location! We thoroughly enjoyed our Easter break staying here. The directions shared to find the property were clear and spot on. The postcode does give a good approx location on Google Maps too, but for the last few steps, the directions provided were essential. The property is surrounded by a couple of houRead moreses and then nothing but fields, sheep and amazing views - all whilst being a short drive to Crickhowell and a number of great BB sights and walks. Spectacularly positioned cottage up in the hills, with a thoughtful and carefully equipped interior. Great bed and bathroom - lovely that one can take dogs, and nice owners next door. The track is steep - so low slung cars beware, but well worth it once you're there.

Everything was exactly as advertised. A lot of thought appears to have been put in by the owners to cater for everyone. Cleanliness was exceptional & the added extras such as bread, butter, milk, eggs etc were most welcome, as were the DVDs. The approach road, mentioned by some others, was easily accessed by a Ford Focus 2 wheel drive. However, I wRead moreould not advise taking a car with any added on low spoilers or other low bodywork. A very enjoyable stay. Hide

A pleasant, clean and quiet cottage . Interesting access by road is possibly not for the faint hearted . It's a shame that the cottage itself doesn't benefit from the fabulous views around it . Owners are friendly and not at all intrusive .
