As well as a range of useful equipment, the room features exposed beams and a circular reinforced window in the floor looking down into the ancient well. Exploring further, there are two tastefully furnished lounges allowing everyone plenty of space to unwind. The ground floor also features a twin bedroom, the first of the property’s six refreshing, light and peaceful bedrooms. Two separate staircases lead to the first-floor bedrooms: a double, two twins and two king-size rooms (one en-suite) along with a family bathroom and a separate shower room. The property also has games room with a pool table and table football. Outside, the large, partially enclosed garden offers plenty of space for children and dogs to play, with a charming patio area perfect for a spot of dining as you admire the marvellous views.
Dogs are welcome at plenty of local attractions including the grounds at Mirehouse, Puzzling Place, Derwent Pencil Museum, Whinlatter Forest Park and Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum (all within 11.5 miles). There are plenty of dog-friendly places to eat and drink in the vibrant town of Keswick (6.5 miles), and there are miles of walks around the nearby lakes: Derwentwater (8 miles), Ullswater and Bassenthwaite Lake (both 9.5 miles).
