and there’s a great range of fun outdoor activities for all ages, from walking to sailing and windsurfing. For an outing you and your canine buddies can both enjoy, head for Tywyn (4 miles), to climb aboard the historic Talyllyn Railway. Pre-booked dogs are welcome passengers but must sit on the floor. Their tickets cost £4, and they receive a special doggy bag. The steam train runs 7 miles to the foothills of the Snowdonia National Park, where there is a wealth of walking trails for you and your four-legged pals to explore. En-route, alight at Dolgoch station to see the famous trio of beautiful waterfalls and let your dogs have a satisfying splash before returning home.
