This lovely cottage sits in the heart of pretty Blakeney. It is close to the picturesque quayside and the open spaces of the nature reserve, all perfect for waggy-tailed walks in the fresh sea air. Sleeping three visitors across two bedrooms, it is ideal for a couple or small family seeking rest and relaxation with their furry friend on the stunning North Norfolk Coast.
Inside, this traditional cottage is beautifully finished with simple, tasteful pieces of furniture to create a comfortable and welcoming feel. The cosy lounge, with a sofa and armchair arranged invitingly around the wood burner, is a lovely spot to relax together in the evening while your four-legged friend enjoys the warmth. The kitchen/dining room is warm and welcoming with contemporary units blending seamlessly with the exposed brick wall and terracotta floor. Upstairs the two bedrooms are charming, with crisp white bed linen and traditional furniture. Outside there is a gravelled courtyard; a delightful spot for an outdoor meal or a coffee in the morning sunshine.
Blakeney Nature Reserve (1.5 miles) is ideal for long walks with your four-legged friend. Take a boat trip to Blakeney Spit to see the resident seals (dogs on leads) or enjoy a stroll around the pretty village of Cley next the Sea (1.5 miles), which has a long stretch of pebble beach perfect for a few games of fetch. For a sandy, family-friendly beach, head to the delightful town of Sheringham (9 miles), which is also home to the National Trust Sheringham Park, where there are over 1000 acres for your four-pawed pal to snuffle about in. Or take in the countryside views from the comfort of a steam train on the North Norfolk Railway, which runs from Sheringham to Holt and welcomes well-behaved dogs.
