A charming cottage set in a rural location with spectacular walks, cycle trails and bridle paths on its doorstep making it the perfect bolthole for explorers on foot, bike or noble steed.

Situated in the quintessentially English town of Chapel-en-le-Frith, the charming, rural setting for the property is a joy to behold for all the family and is sure to get the tails wagging too! If a picture-postcard location that comes with a plethora of outstanding walks, cycle trails and bridle paths on its doorstep is what you are searching for, then look no further.

This accommodation has an appealing upside-down layout with the main hallway leading down to the two bedrooms. The double room features a stylish iron bedstead and the second room, a twin, is ideal for children. Both rooms share a light, bright and spacious family bathroom as well as a separate shower room. Climb the oak staircase to the first floor and be greeted by a spacious open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge which has striking views of the countryside. With a stone floor, wood burner and two sofas to cosy up on, you and your dogs will have all of the creature comforts you could need. Outside in the garden area, bask in the Peak District’s perfect setting and sip a morning coffee overlooking the valley.

Find yourself surrounded by an abundance of wildlife: there’s no shortage of moorland and oak-birch woodlands to go mutts over! Try venturing just 7 miles over to neighbouring Castleton and explore some favourites including the underground caves and hilltop Peveril Castle. If you fancy a trip to a traditional, dog-friendly country pub, the inn at Sparrowpit is less than 2 miles away.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Beautiful cottage! Views from the back garden are so lovely. We had a meal at the no car cafe on one of the evenings which was gorgeous. Run by a lovely family who have put lots in place to ensure everyones safety. We will be back!

Great location, close to a wide network of walking trails, proximity to Kinder Scout, Castleton, Edale. Perfect option for self-catered holiday. The property owners are clearly putting serious consideration into coronavirus protections for peace of mind as well.

Gorgeous location, so so quiet. As we holidayed in November, the night sky on crisp cold nights were a sight to behold due to no light pollution. Owners were very friendly and couldnt do enough for us.

A very comfortable place to stay in lovely surroundings. And a very good evening meal was a bonus. Fair bit of rain which limited the walking but there are many other things to explore, and it was always a delight to come "home".

Lovely comfortable cottage, quirky being upside down, but all the better for it. Fabulous views down the valley. Walks from the doorstep and lots to do close at hand.

Very nice upside down cottage, lovely views of the surrounding countryside and the resident horses and alpacas, friendly owners who were helpful and happy to talk about the animals they keep and allowed the children to feed. When open the cafe is a bonus, short drive to supermarket, within easy driving distance to surrounding places of interest andRead more lovely walks from the property. Hide
