The seaside town of Bude has so much to offer and is all within walking distance of this ground floor apartment. Head off along the coastal path to secluded bays whilst embracing the scenery
This quirky property, situated half a mile from dog-friendly Crooklets Beach, is the perfect romantic getaway for two – plus the hound, of course! Sleeping you both in a comfortable king-size bed, and with plenty of space for the pup to snooze, it won’t be long before you’re feeling refreshed and ready to get out and explore Bude and the fantastic North Cornwall coast. Take a walk along the South West Coast Path to Compass Point (1.5 miles) and beyond – there’s no need to worry about muddy paws, since there’s a shared shower and doggy bath on site!
The property, which is accessed by a shared entrance lobby, is spacious and bright. The open-plan living area is light and airy, decorated with the blue and white tones of the sea in mind; sit on the sofa and gaze out of the huge windows, looking across the golf course towards the sea while the pup curls up by your feet. Take a drink out to the shared terrace at the front of the building where you can watch the world go by, or enjoy a delicious meal in the on-site restaurant.
Take a ride on the Launceston Steam Railway (19.5 miles) where your canine companion is welcome to join you, or take in the beautiful scenery around Hartland Abbey and Gardens (16 miles). The dramatic views from Tintagel Castle (20.5 miles) are well worth travelling for and the South West Coast Path is perfect for walkies. Head across the border to Devon to stroll the cobbled streets of Clovelly (17 miles) or do something a bit different and visit the Gnome Reserve (13.5 miles) where you can search the woodland and wildflower gardens for over 60 gnomes and pixies.
