This detached pod nestles in an elevated position within a private enclosure in the owner’s grounds from which spectacular views across the valley can be appreciated. Great for couples to enjoy a degree of seclusion.
Looking for the perfect romantic bolthole for your happy trio (and by that we mean you, your partner and your treasured canine companion) This modern wooden pod overlooking Dartmoor National Park is a quirky and cosy option for a relaxing holiday. Situated with surrounding woodlands and on a hilltop and with its own private hot tub, you couldn’t want for a more peaceful spot. It’s ideal for an individual or a couple plus one dog.
Inside, you’ll find a beautiful open-plan space which serves as a lounge/kitchen/diner. Your beloved pup will adore taking dognaps by the wood burner. The bedroom is in a curtained-off section towards the back of the pod. Beyond the glass entrance doors, there’s a huge deck with a table and chairs for sitting and absorbing the gorgeous view, as well as a charcoal BBQ. In the circular hot tub, also outside, take a soak under the stars while sharing a bottle of something bubbly.
The pod is set in 2 acres of enclosed grounds where you can take your canine companion for a run each morning. On Dartmoor, less than half a mile away, you’ll find plenty of perfect ball-throwing and rabbit-chasing opportunities that your doggie pal will go mutts for (think rugged open spaces, fast-flowing rivers and stunning deep valleys). For a coastal stroll, jump in the car and head to Paignton (12.5 miles) or Torquay (15 miles), both pretty seaside towns. If you’re holidaying with friends, consider making use of The Cedars, a cottage on the same property that also sleeps a couple plus their dog.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
