Thank you very much to both Sally and Bill for a wonderful stay in such a charming and homely place. Sally was such an attentive host and It was beautifully clean too. We had such fun walking around the estate and took the opportunity to wind down in The Old Larder, cosy up and play family games on an evening. The estate is wonderful! .We can imagiRead morene how stunning it looks in May/ June when things are in bloom, particularly the rhododendrons- we'd love to return to see these for ourselves. Hide

A delightful property in gorgeous surroundings, let by the inadequacy of the heating system. Electricly-heated towel rails not working and dishwasher also did not work from the outset. The owner did refund all of our money but we were more interested in having a comfortable stay. Very frustrating overall.

A delightful apartment in a beautiful setting. The owner and housekeeper couldn't have been more helpful. This part of scotland tends to be overlooked by tourists and shouldn't be.

Great little location. Huge grounds with lovely walks and wildlife. Unusual cottage with traditional old decoration and furnishings. A few minutes from local places to shop and eat in Innerleithen , and peebles is a further 10 minutes. I'd say a car is necessary to access places though. Lovely, friendly and helpful house keeper.
