Step inside this beautiful blue wooden lodge and can’t fail to notice its wonderful blend of cool, contemporary decor and authentic, rustic charm. Head to the kitchen and you’ll find everything you need to cook up a feast for your loved ones. Eat in the dining area, or make your way outside and strike up the BBQ. There are two options for al fresco dining: the spacious deck, or the dining space to the side of the lodge. After dinner, pour a glass of wine and take a leisurely dip in the outdoor hot tub, or head to the living area and curl up on the sofa to watch a movie. When the day is done, there are three lovely bedrooms to choose from.
Take your pups for a refreshing stroll at dog-friendly Markse Sands (12 miles). This lovely sandy beach is a big hit with dog-walkers and surfers alike, and there are a few nice dog-friendly pubs in the village above the beach. Just 4 miles from the lodge you’ll find Guisborough Forest and Walkway. A mosaic of woodland, wetland and grassland, your pups are sure to love it. The cafe there is dog-friendly and its full English breakfast has a great reputation.
