We had a fantastic long weekend at The Hive. It is a beautifully converted shepherds hut with stunning views and amazing opportunities for star gazing. If you are after a relaxing get away.. this place is amazing.

This is amazing location to get away from it all. Incredible views night and day with greenery at your door. The hut is comfortable and gives a bit of home luxuries to the camping basics. This is perfect if you want to spend time offline and in nature.

Wow, what an amazing place to stay! Despite torrential rain all weekend we had a wonderful time. Location very peaceful. Views were nice, though view of mountains is rather obscured by trees. Strenuous steep climb uphill over grass from where car parked to reach the holiday hut.

The hut was in amongst glorious scenery, with great views from the decking. The hut was laid out nicely, with homely decor and a reasonable bed. Sadly, the hob didn't work half the time. The toilet didn't work properly and was not fixed until three days in. It was very hard to find the place (and we were told to actively ignore the sat nav, which wRead moreould have actually taken us to the right place). The owner was very hard to get a hold of, and the people living onsite weren't aware of our booking. Hide

We had a lovely stay. Location is so peaceful and relaxing and the accommodation was well equipped to really enjoy our stay. Be prepared to really get away from it all, with local shops and pubs only within driving distance, so come prepared with food before you arrive.
