A good cottage in a lovely village with a friendly butcher's and a grocery store with a varied selection of items. The cottage was well stocked and there was ample parking. Good local walks and the pub next door did great take away food, but only on certain days. Nearby towns were worth a visit. Overall, very good.

Lovely, spacious and comfortable cottage. If you are going midweek in winter, as we did, then don't expect to get a drink or a meal at the only pub in Morebattle as it was closed all the time we were there. Also, if taking a dog, we aware that the patio is open. It is a well equipped cottage in a lovely area for walking.

Cottage was very basic and had not been updated for many years. Area is secluded with very little amenities. Outside area unkept and not pleasant to sit outside. Overpriced
