Step inside this lovely ex-railway worker’s cottage and enter the open-plan living space where your pup will never be far from sight. Cook up a delicious dinner for two in the compact but well-equipped kitchen area to share at the cosy dining table with original cottage-style built in seat. Snuggle up on the comfortable sofa to share a bottle of wine, with your hound sprawled at your feet. When it’s time for bed, head upstairs to the first floor where you will find a double bedroom and stylish shower room. Remember to bring your pup’s favourite bedding so they can rest their paws in comfort too. To the front of the cottage is a delightful enclosed patio where you can enjoy an early evening glass of wine.
Stroll through the village to reach Berry Head Nature Reserve (1.5 miles) for walks along the headland and stunning views across the coastline. Step onto the South West Coast Path to sniff out one of the dog-friendly coves for a picnic and a doggy paddle. Hop onboard the dog-friendly passenger ferry to Torquay (8.5 miles) where you can walk along the palm-tree lined promenade and step back in time at Bygones as you wander the replica Victorian street scenes with your hound at your side.
