Enjoy a stroll along the nearby River Exe before returning to your cosy lodge for a glass of wine in the hot tub whilst Fido plays in the enclosed lawn below.
Curl up on the sofa and give Rover a well-deserved belly rub, before heading over to the farmhouse-style kitchen area to rustle up a tasty meal for two. Open up the French doors to let a happy hound explore the split-level decking whilst you enjoy dinner at the wooden breakfast bar. Sink into the sumptuous double bed in the stunning bedroom and watch the stars appear in the night sky through the open door. Awake refreshed and enjoy a morning coffee on the bistro table outside whilst hatching plans for the day’s adventures and walkies.
Wander the beautiful dog-friendly grounds of Knightshayes Court (9 miles) or enjoy a walk along the picturesque canal in Tiverton (7 miles). Join the Exe Valley Way from Bickleigh (3 miles) and go as far as your two, or four, legs will take you along 52 miles of winding footpath that follows the River Exe from source to sea. After working up an appetite, enjoy a local ale or sample the menu at one of the pubs that warmly welcomes both dogs and people in Cheriton Fitzpaine (2.5 miles).
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
