Delightful mid-terrace holiday cottage in the heart of this popular seaside village with parking and a small patio garden. The bedrooms make it ideal for one or two couples or a small family.
This charming property, located just 3.5 miles from Bamburgh Beach, is perfect for you and your guests, including the four-legged one! Sleeping four across two cosy bedrooms, this holiday home is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a coastal holiday with the whole family. Take a boat trip to Longstone Island from the harbour (485 metres), where you may see puffins and seals on the way, and view the lighthouse made famous by Grace Darling. If you prefer to stay on land, wander the village and go for a drink in the dog-friendly pub, less than 200 metres away.
The property, which backs onto an unadopted footpath that leads to Seahouses’ main shopping area, is spacious and inviting. The lounge has a calming and relaxing atmosphere with a wood burner that the pup will love to snooze near, while the bright and airy conservatory is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee with a view to the patio garden. Upstairs, the bedrooms promote a tranquil night’s sleep; wake up among soft, neutral decor and head downstairs to the kitchen diner for a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day.
If you’re visiting outside of bird nesting season, your hound can join you on pretty Beadnell Bay Beach (2.5 miles) where the kids will enjoy digging in the sand while you look out at views of the Cheviot Hills. Newton Haven also has a fantastic beach, 8 miles away, and nearby Low Newton-by-the-Sea (7.5 miles) has stunning coastal walks as well as a dog-friendly microbrewery pub. Visit Dunstanburgh Castle (10.5 miles) that has some fascinating legends to hear about and excellent views from the top of the tower.
