Close to the Devon and Cornwall border, it enjoys the best of both counties and is a mere stone’s throw from Appledore’s beating heart. Your dogs will thoroughly approve of the array of dog-friendly beaches and attractions nearby, too. A pretty hideaway perfect for a couple, this little cottage has everything you could need and more. Decorated with neutral colours and pastel hues, it is cosy and inviting throughout the year. To kick start your day, sip a cup of coffee and watch the morning news from the snuggly embrace of the lounge sofa. Take the dogs for an early stroll and if its nice weather, rest a spell in the private patio area accessed via a drang. The well-appointed kitchen has all the utensils you need to prepare delicious meals, and there is a small dining table and chairs. Upstairs, you will find one super comfortable king-size bedroom and a single room. The cute and compact bathroom is also located upstairs too.

Less than a mile from Appledore centre, there are a number of shops and eateries at your fingertips (and paws). In Appledore, there are two great dog-friendly pubs, The Seagate and The Beaver Inn. Cottage was very cute but smaller than anticipated.Right on a main street so plenty of cars, people and even horses going by so if you have a dog that is a barker you may need to take this into consideration. We didnt use the garden as the path was a bit dark and slippery for the evening toilet break- it was easier to walk our dog out into the villaRead morege. Appledore is pretty but unfortunately there is nowhere at the property to sit and watch the world go by Hide

The location of this property was excellent. However even for just two people and a dog the property felt very restricted and difficult to move about.

The cottage is generally very comfortable. However it is not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulty due to the narrowness and steep staircase. It is well equipped and provides a good base for travelling around Appledore and North Devon. The car park is only a minute away and is in easy walking distance of The Beaver Inn and The Seagate and reRead morestaurants such as the Flame Factory Hide

Although small the cottage had everything we needed. The car park was very close by. We could walk to every where in Appledore. The garden was small and a bit overgrown . Overall we had a lovely holiday in a quaint cottage in a lovely location.

We enjoyed our stay at Sals Place. It was cosy and compact. It wasn't a luxury cottage - but was good value. It had all that was needed. The kitchen had all the equipment you required. The location was great - close to the riverfront and amenities - & a short walk from the car park. The garden was a bonus but the weather didn't allow us to use it! Modernised, but keeping the traditional feel to the cottage. We had a very good week, enjoying the comfortable cottage and excellent location. We had some good walks on the South West Coastal path which runs past the cottage.
