A lovely pet friendly family holiday home, situated on the southern side of the Island, ideally located to explore the wonderful selection of attractions on offer nearby.

This elegant holiday home in the pretty village of Wroxall sleeps four people over two bedrooms and welcomes two faithful friends. Full of character and within easy reach of some superb beaches, walking and cycling routes, this is the perfect accommodation option for a small family or group of friends who want to get away from it all and explore the Isle of Wight with their trusty pups by their side.

 

Attached to the owners home, yet with privacy assured, step through the entrance of this stylish home and you’ll find yourself in an elegant dining room. It’s instantly clear that this is a house where socialising with your loved ones is the top priority. Head to the large country-style kitchen and cook up a feast for your nearest and dearest. Dine together in the charming dining room or make your way out to the side of house and dine alfresco in the small courtyard garden. After dinner, sit back and watch your favourite movie in the comfortable living area as your pups warm their paws in front of the wood burner. When the day is done, make your way up to the first-floor, where you will find two gorgeous bedrooms.

 

On a sunny morning, there’s a good chance that you and your pups will have the dog-friendly beach at Luccombe Bay (4.5 miles) all to yourselves. Alternatively, try out the lovely Monk’s Bay (4.5 miles). This quiet stretch of sand and shingle just to the east of the village of Bonchurch is dog-friendly all year round – and there’s a very nice inn in the village that welcomes pups too.

  • Regret there is no rear garden
  • Off-road parking available for 2 cars on the shared driveway
  • Fairly steep staircase to the first floor
  • Beach 4 miles, pub and shop 1 mile
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Lovely cottage, perfect for those looking to escape it all. Lovely and clean, comfortable and most importantly a lovely, comfy bed! Location is quiet but close to amenities. Highly recommend.

Great place for getting right onto the islands extensive footpath network. Able to walk over to the Griffin and the Taverners in Godshill without needing the car.

Beautiful well equipped cottage, Very comfortable lounge & beds. The owner was very friendly and left milk and homemade scones for our arrival, which was lovely great enclosed patio for our dog too. Would highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay at Rhoda cottage. The cream tea on arrival was a nice touch. Accommodation was clean and spacious, although we felt that the kitchen and large bathroom would benefit from some updating. The patio area was safe and secure for the dog. Great location on a quiet lane with country views. Well presented property with mostly good facilities. No dishwasher and washing up was less than easy.

We had a great week in this well appointed cottage. We are currently exploring many areas of Britain that we have yet to see, but, if we were to come back to the Isle of Wight, our first port of call would be to see if this property was available. It is very central and enables visitors to get to many of the 'attractions' as well as providing good Read morewalking from the door. Hide
