Sleeping up to eight guests and four dogs, visitors will delight in the 30 acres of beautiful paw-friendly outdoor space that accompanies this magnificent property. Enjoy an abundance of activities on the estate including fishing and watching the resident animals, including alpacas, pygmy goats, ponies, pigs and sheep, or lace up your walking boots for a stomp to the local village pub in Bettws Cedewain.

Follow your four-legged friends into the heart of this stunning accommodation: an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This wonderful space is perfect for celebrating a special occasion. Pop-open a bottle of fizz and relax on the sofa as your dogs take a well-deserved snooze. When it’s time to rustle up a meal for everyone, head into the well-equipped kitchen and whip up a comforting supper for your group – just remember to put some doggy treats into a bowl too. Dig into your dinner at the large table or head outside to the private patio for an evening of alfresco dining. While you feast on a sumptuous spread, your pups can sniff around the garden and the fishing pond nearby. When you’re ready for a good night’s sleep, you’ll find four lovely en-suite bedrooms inside: one super-king-size, one twin and two doubles.

Treat yourself to an afternoon tea in Newtown, which is less than 3 miles from this idyllic property and offers visitors a lively high street to peruse. The ancient market town of Welshpool is 13 miles from the front door. While in the area, take a trip to the National Trust Powis Castle and Garden (2 miles from Welshpool) and admire their amazing collection of paintings, tapestries and furniture. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to explore the beautifully kept garden during the winter months.

Lovely house, large enough for 3 couples, 3 children and 3 dogs. Great to have a fenced in patio and plenty of garden & feilds to walk dogs around. Children loved meeting the alpacas, goat and ponies.

We stayed as a family of six adults with four dogs. Booked in for Christmas the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas and a whole host of goodies were awaiting us including milk, bread, tea, coffee, to help us settle in quickly. The kitchen equipment is well stocked and the cottage was spotless. Our hosts checked in on us to ensure we were Read moresettled and encouraged us to use the vacant fields to exercise our dogs. This very comfortable and cosy accommodation is set in beautiful grounds in a magnificent part of the country. The resident animals are interesting to watch (and also interested in visitors). The Bull and Heifer nearby is a welcoming pub with excellent beer and food. Newtown is a ten minute drive away with a great bakers, Jamaican restaurant and taRead morekeaway, and a selection of other eateries. Beautiful house in an amazing setting with grassy garden, pond, and patios which were great for our 19m toddler and 4 dogs. Thank you for providing a stair gate and feed for the goat. Great location, lovely house, beautiful views, lovely walks. Very clean, every you need. The outside space is fantastic and so dog friendly. A lovely walk to a nearby village, can highly recommend the Bull and Heifer for Sunday roast.

We had an excellent stay at Quarry at Highgate. The cottage has lovely grounds, is clean, well equipped and makes you feel at home. Nice pub about a mile away and lots of countryside for walks.
