With so many wonderful places to explore, it would be silly to leave your best walking buddy behind. Make yourself at home in this charming hut and holiday with your four-pawed pal by your side so you can head out on stick-fetching adventures in the Forest of Bowland AONB and the Yorkshire Dales National Park together. Sleeping four, enjoy time on your private patio and make use of the shared lawn where you can stretch your legs in the morning.

Sitting on the owner’s working farm with a shared lawn, this single-storey lodge has a simple yet inviting style throughout. Muddy pawprints can easily be wiped up in the kitchen/lounge/diner where there is plenty of space to store tasty treats and characterful exposed beams line the ceiling. Keep your chef company as they chop, slice and dice before dining together and relaxing in front of the Smart TV or taking a drink outside. Enjoy your al fresco feast whilst your pups chase their tails and dream of tomorrow’s outings as they look out over Ingleborough, Whernside and the mountains of the Lake District. After a few final treats, say good night and head to bed in either the king-size or the twin where you can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. There is off-road parking for three cars and a livery available at an additional charge.

Tucked between the Forest of Bowland AONB and the Yorkshire Dales National Park, there are a wealth of places nearby for you to explore. Kick start your holiday with a walk on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail which begins 5 miles from your door and is perfect for pups and their owners. Hornby Castle is 6.5 miles away and dogs are welcome to roam the gorgeous gardens with you making it a great spot for a family day out.

Fabulous lodge and location. Had everything we needed, v comfy for us and our dog. Views are amazing over the countryside. Great for visiting, the Dales, the coast, Lake district and forest of Bowland. Great welcome pack to get us started. So peaceful here even though its a farm. Just the odd moo from the cows and cluck from the chicken. Would defiRead morenitely recommend. Hide

Fantastic location, stunning views, very friendly owner, comfortable property, well equipped, a lovely welcoming pack, so much exploring and wonderful walks from the doorstep, this is somewhere we shall be returning with our 2 dogs!

I could recommend this place enough. The owner is lovely and very helpful, the welcome pack is very thoughtful and the accommodation is perfect. It is clean and warm and short of nothing. My little boy loved seeing the cows, chickens and ducks wandering around and he said the eggs that were left for us are the best he has ever had. I would definiteRead morely come back here. The location is great, an easy drive to the Dales, the forest and coast. The nearby riverside walk is also nice. The nearby town (just over a mile away) is lovely, amazing bakery and butcher, but it is a uphill walk back if you go by foot. The cottage is lovely. It's in the middle of a working farm so dogs have to be on a lead on the property but tRead morehere is so much great walking nearby. The kids loved having the chickens and the cows around them. Easily found despite very rural location. Just perfect for a short break, with everything you could ever need. . . and the views are incredible! The owner is a lovely guy; never intrusive but there if you need anything.

Plum Tree was a wonderful last minute find. The location and setting is brilliant - stunning, panoramic views to the rear; animals to see in the farmyard and circular countryside walks from your door. Plenty of idyllic villages and historic towns are nearby and the coast not too far should you want variety of landscapes and activities. Had a fantastic 7 night break with our 2 dogs and 10 month old. Stunning views from the cabin, beautiful sunsets when cloud permitting and gorgeous thunder storms at night over on the distance. Beautiful area lots of quiet walks through the forest, up the peaks and lots of scenic towns close by each with their own walks/shops/cafes/pubs to explore.Read more Cottage was very comfortable and private and Elaine is super friendly. Very warm welcome. Excellent comfortable double bed. Great position to visit the Yorkshire Dales. Very friendly chickens! Wonderful views.
