Alternatively, when the weather’s warmer you have access to an enclosed shingled patio with garden furniture, with views over the owner’s garden, which is also available for you to use (although guests with small dogs are advised that prior arrangement with the owners is necessary to ensure that the garden is suitable).
Situated in the heart of the village of Cawston, a deli/cafe and local pub are both within 150m of your door, while the 24½-mile-long Marriott’s Way – a long distance cycle way and footpath – runs just ¼ mile away. If that doesn’t get tails wagging, then head north for 16 miles, where salty seadogs will find mile-upon-mile of beach and surf at Sheringham and Cromer, or turn south-east for 13 miles where urban hounds can paw the pavements of historic Norwich with its medieval cathedral.
