A superb new bespoke built house (designed by architects as featured on Channel 4 “Grand Designs”), located in a peaceful private idyllic position amid the most spectacular mountain scenery that the Scottish Highlands has to offer. Complimented with wood burner, contemporary balcony set within an enclosed garden, private hot tub and a detached fully equipped games room.

With the Mamore Mountains and West Highland Way virtually on the doorstep, this truly astonishing house, as featured on Channel 4 ‘Grand Designs’, is ideal for activity-led visitors and their dogs who are hungry to discover the raw beauty of the landscape in and around nearby Loch Leven. Modern in its furnishings but in keeping with the ever-changing mountain scenery, this reverse-level house will rejuvenate its visitors, especially outside where they can watch the moon and stars light up the mountains.

Two fresh and inviting bedrooms await on the ground floor: a king-size and a twin which both enjoy mountain views, with brightly coloured soft furnishings. A shower room sits opposite, along with a utility room for laundering clothing. A double bedroom with mountain views and a family bathroom with a sunken bath can be found on the first floor. The sofas in the open-plan living area on this level will be the place to study OS maps, compare selfies or stream a favourite series as the wood burner crackles in the corner. Tuck into something hearty either in the dining area or on the enclosed balcony, which is accessible via the kitchen. Further al fresco dining options can be found in the enclosed garden, with hot tub, BBQ hut, fire pit and raised playhouse. There is a colourful games room to the side of the property with pool table, table football Sony PlayStation and Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney and Apple TV+.

Hikers will be bursting to enjoy the view from atop the Mamore Mountains (3 miles) while Loch Leven (8 miles) is a haven for water sports lovers. Dogs are welcome aboard the Jacobite Steam Train (22 miles) which travels between Fort William and Mallaig.

What a find! Mountain View had everything that our family (including four teenagers) could want. A quiet location, stunning scenery, plenty of local walks, and gorgeous decor. We all enjoyed the hot tub and barbecue hut, and the teenagers loved the games room.

A lovely house in a quiet cul de sac. Facilities were excellent, especially the barbecue hut and the hot tub. Three pubs within walking distance and lots of walks from the door. We had a great holiday!

A beautiful property in a stunning location with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Absolutely no complaints, we had a great time, with lots of lovely walks for the dogs on the doorstep.

Had a fantastic week, had all the home comforts plus a bit of luxury! Good location to use as a base to explore the highlands but with local amenities, co-op, pubs etc, within walking distance. The house has everything you would need and the games room was a bonus - great to keep kids entertained! Would highlight that the house is not as isolated aRead mores I thought - its at the top of a cul-de-sac along with 6 other houses and the garden/hot tub is overlooked by the neighbours. What a beautiful home for tge week with everything you need. Great views and walks . However our weather was shocking so we never really explored many. Lots to keep you entertained in the house and games room . Owners very kind in leaving extra items of crockery to help over Christmas.

Fantastic property. Owners very welcoming showed us around on arrival. BBQ is a great addition and meant we could enjoy a good BBQ even if the rains came, also great for snuggling around with the kids roasting marshmallows. What a lovely lodge in a great location. It was well equipped and clean, with great views all around. Ideal base for travelling around the area. Shop and pub within walking distance. Would highly recommend and would stay there again.

We had an amazing week in this lovely house. Very modern, spotlessly clean and everything provided was of a very high standard. We hadn't realised we would be in walking distance of all the village amentities, including a Co-op, Chinese and Milkshade bar. We were very lucky to have excellent weather, the views from the property are stunning. We madRead moree full use of the balcony, hot tub and barbecue hut and games room . Great holiday, good location to explore, the grandchildren loved the games rooms. the barbque hut was perfect for relaxing in at night, sitting in the hot tub looking at the star was so relaxing. We were a party of 4 adults 2 children the house was a good size for us all. The house was lovely and warm for February.

We had a lovely stay. Mr and Mrs Bray were extremely helpful. The house was 5 star and the kids loved the games room and hot tub. The weather was very wet but it did not spoil our holiday as the house was so good to relax in. Will be back :)

The long weekend at this lodge was everything we expected and more. The outdoor BBQ hut is revelation and great for socialising at any time of the year. The lodge was immaculately clean, warm, and comfortable. It felt homely and we would certainly consider returning for another visit. This property was beautiful and Modern, very clean everything you Needed was there. They also had a new addition to the garden a barbecue hut which was fantastic and great when it rained. There was a play house for young children too fitted with fairy lights but my two boys used the games room the most

A great property in a very accessible position. The house is beautifully furnished with mountain views and was really well equipped. Our adult/teenage sons appreciated the games room and hot tub plus the outdoor activities nearby. There was a new barbecue hut which provided a fun dinner option. Just as beautiful and clean as the photos - stunning! We were so happy with our week at Mountain View. Well equipped, very clean, and amazing views. Game room is a real plus.
