I think the words of another review sum up our experience very well; "Lovely cottage and location but needs a little updating and cleanliness could be better." Parking looked like it could be a challenge if other cars were present. The up-side-down room layout worked well, and it was plenty warm enough on a mild week at the end of the year that theRead more wood burner wasn't used. Lovely cottage in a great location. Few hundred yards from the beach and very short distance to the lovely village pub and little coffee shop. Cottage was nice and clean and plenty of equipment. Would benefit from a bigger fridge/freezer but otherwise very good. Tried to book another date next year but fully booked!!

The Cottage was in an ideal location to explore North Norfolk, it was very cosy and warm. It could do with a better clean as there was a lot of black dog hair on the carpets and sofa, the shower could also do with upgrading. A lovely quaint cottage in a lovely village and near the beach. The beach is pebbles so not so great for dogs. A lovely enclosed garden so great for dogs. Not my level of clean. Needs a few upgrades to pass on a e star in my opinion Did enjoy the holiday The owner needs to tweak a few things, if they did would definitely go back!

We really enjoyed our time at Mill Barn particularly the location so close to the shingle beach and to the village shop and the Ship Inn. We liked it so much that we had hoped to come again next spring but unfortunately it is almost fully booked (and more expensive!)
