Beautiful, quiet place and the owners, Celia and Dermot are lovely - they also laid on a gorgeous home made cream tea to welcome us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend 'Little Dean'. It's close to the breathtaking coast of North Devon and the stunning moors with excellent dog friendly pubs, and shops for every day needs nearby.
