Located on the beach and featuring your very own private balcony with stunning open views of the sea, this property offers a family or group of friends a truly superb holiday home
Swap the hustle and bustle for windswept walks and dinner with a sea view, treating your four-legged friend to an unforgettable break in Herne Bay. Sleeping seven humans and two hounds, this gorgeous apartment overlooks the beach, offering a tranquil setting for relaxing on your private balcony. Wake up to the cry of seagulls and the crashing waves, sipping your morning coffee and gazing out at the horizon.
The property is accessed via a flight of metal stairs, so take care of delicate paws on hot summer days! Dust down sandy coats and step into the contemporary living space, whipping up a well-deserved feast in the kitchen and settling down at the table to dine with the pack. Sprawl on the sofas in front of a good film, or head outside to your private balcony for evening drinks with a view. At bedtime, choose from three comfortable bedrooms, including a master suite with a Jack-and-Jill en-suite bathroom. There’s also a delightful family bathroom with a bath and a shower over the bath. The owners have thought of everything you may need during your stay, and have even provided beach chairs and toys to borrow. There’s a second outside space at the front of the garden, and parking is restricted to Ridgeway Cliff or nearby on-street parking only.
Pack up the essentials and stroll along the esplanade, sampling classic seaside fare such as ice creams, seafood and chips seasoned with lashings of salt and vinegar. Your waggy-tailed chum has to abide with seasonal restrictions on Herne Bay beach itself, but nearby Hampton-on-Sea and Reculver Beach welcome furry visitors all year round, easily reached within 6 miles. You may even be able to spy the ruins of the 12th-century church with its iconic ‘twin sister’ towers.
