Arranged in a reverse-level layout to make the most of the wonderful views, the three stylishly-decorated bedrooms are located on the ground floor. While each room has been tastefully finished in soft muted tones to reflect the coastal location of this property, the master bedroom with en-suite has the added benefit of French doors that open onto the garden. Upstairs, the impressive lounge/kitchen/diner is a wonderful space for entertaining, finished with oak flooring, a sumptuous sofa and minimalistic contemporary kitchen with island. Cricket fans can enjoy the best seat in the house from the balcony beyond, while the enclosed private garden below is perfect for relaxing summer meals with the family and pooch.

The vast expanse of golden sand at Westward Ho!’s beach lies less than half a mile from the front door and welcomes dogs throughout the year in various zones. After a long stroll, head into the village centre for a bite to eat at one of its pubs, cafes or restaurants or browse its selection of shops. Golfing enthusiasts can walk to the Royal North Devon Golf Club for a round, while wildlife enthusiasts should not miss a day trip to the beautiful Lundy Island, home to large colonies of puffins and seals.

Location is perfect and very close to the shops, beach, amusements, restaurants, but with the cricket pitch to give you a buffer. Great host and worth every penny.

Fantastic location as it is within easy reach of the beach, shops and restaurants. The house itself was clean, well equipped and had everything needed for a week away. The welcome scones were a lovely touch!!

A fantastic well equipped property in an excellent position. We have stayed in Westward Ho! a number of times and this is the best house we have stayed in. Good quality appliances and crockery. Howzat is a lovely house with everything you could possibly need. The house is spotless. The location is perfect if you want a quiet relaxing holiday with bars, restaurants, cafes and shops a short walk away. Howzat is a really super holiday home. The location is great with a lovely view over the cricket pitch. The house is really well equipped and everything was sparkling clean. You can sit on the balcony and watch the surfers carrying their boards past! (Unless you're surfing yourself of course!) Good parking too.

The property was beautiful and we had everything we needed as far as the kitchen and TV / broadband . Good base for exploring Devon and we were right by the sea and the local amenities . Owner was very helpful and we felt comfortable with contacting him .
