This lovely property, with exposed beams throughout, is all on one level with an internal step from the lounge. The lounge, with its wood burner-effect gas fire, is a cosy place to relax after a day frolicking along the many dog-friendly sandy beaches within a 10-mile radius. Prepare a Devon cream tea in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy it in the pretty enclosed garden where your canine companions can doze in the sun after a busy morning exploring the area. If you’re a group of salty sea dogs, you’ll appreciate the lockable shed where bodyboards, or bikes, can be stored. Several marked cycle routes lie within a 5-mile radius around Clovelly.

This property is right on the doorstep of the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its sweeping sea views, striking rock formations and expansive sandy beaches popular with surfers, kite-surfers and dogs. Clovelly’s sheltered pebble beach is a short walk from the delightful car-free village of Clovelly, 3 miles away, where donkeys have been the main form of transport for centuries. Clovelly beach welcomes your canine companions all year round, and the village leads directly to one of the loveliest sections of the South West Coast Path. Travel from Clovelly to the dog-friendly Mouthmill beach, just 5 miles further along, through woodland and along cliffs – you’d be barking mad to miss it!

Fabulous stylish cottage with everything you need in it to make your stay easy and comfortable. Home from home! Bed very comfofy. Bath great for a long soak with aromatherapy essential oils after a long day of walking. Kitchen great, had everything we needed and more. Spacious. Cottage easy to clean and keep organised. Facilities fab - TV, xbox, DVRead moreD player etc etc. Enclosed farden great feature, our dog loved sitting in the kitchen looking out Wonderful stay. We would most certainly stay again. Hide

The location of the cottage is superb for accessing points on the North Devon and Cornwall coast. There is a broad array of attractions and walks to satisfy all tastes. The cottage itself is in a very peaceful location, with just the occasional braying of friendly donkeys in the adjacent field.

A great property, well kitted out with all the little items to start the holiday, tea, washing up liquid etc. The enclosed garden is great for the dogs and the views out to sea from the property are lovely. Roughly equidistant between Bude and Bideford/Woolacombe and within walking distance of Clovelly and the South West Coast Path, this property iRead mores in a great location. Hide

Lovely cottage, very comfortable bed. Secluded and secure back garden for our dog, plus a communal grassed area for her to run about with her ball.

Excellent accommodation, but you do need transport to get to anywhere you can walk. We would certainly book again if we wanted another holiday in the Hartland area
