With waterside views, stylish interior and space for all, this beautiful cottage on the Norfolk Broads is the perfect home for larger groups to celebrate any occasion or simply spend time together.

Need a lovely location for a larger group? This beautiful waterside cottage near Wroxham is a true rural paradise. It’s a detached house with its own private Norfolk Broad, along with a gated wooden jetty leading to it. The spacious property sleeps up to 12 so is ideal for a special occasion – two canine companions are welcome to join in the fun too.

The inside is decorated in eye-catching colours, with plenty of quirky touches to make it feel homely and welcoming. Look out for original features such as exposed wooden beams. There’s a porch area which is ideal for storing everyone’s walking boots – and for brushing off those muddy paws after energetic walks. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for group cooking, and there’s a spacious dining room for enjoying leisurely meals together – good if you’re celebrating a birthday or retirement. Two lounges, both with TVs, give you plenty of options for winding down. In one, you’ll find a wood burner which you can light on chillier evenings. Outside, the dogs will love running around on the lawn while the humans relax on the paved area which is kitted out with garden furniture.

The house is part of the Bure Marshes National Nature Reserve where there’s plenty to keep you amused, be it fishing, walking or simply absorbing the views. Take Scruffy on long walks around the other broads – he’ll adore breathing in all those new scents. When the sea beckons, head to Waxham (12 miles) where you can buy a bag of chips and absorb coastal views – or have a dip in the sea if it’s a warm day. The neighbouring beach of Sea Palling (12.5 miles) is also worth sniffing out.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We had a lovely family holiday, plenty of room for the six adults and four children aged 4 to 7, garden safe and secure for them to play in and they loved playing hide and seek in the house, lots of good hiding places!! Good fishing and wildlife spotting from the jetty. Superb, secluded location. Wonderful view across Hudson's Bay. Really well stocked property with lots of very nice little touches (such as some basic easentials like bread, and a little packet of dog treats). We're already looking at dates for next year :)

We had a wonderful time at Haughs End. It is well equipped with plenty of space for our party of 12 with comfy sofas, a large dining table and lots of outdoor seating. The jetty at the end of the garden is a perfect spot for some peace and quiet. We did a click and collect from Tesco on outskirts of Norwich ready for our arrival but Hoveton and WroRead morexham are only 5 mins away for topping up basics and takeaways. We would definitely recommend a boat trip in the Broads from Wroxham. Hide

We absolutely loved this property. It is a large house, full of character and perfect for big family groups. We arrived to find a lovely welcome pack of goodies, including some treats for our dog. We spent many an hour sitting on the jetty - with coffee first thing or a glass of wine in the evening. Wonderful! We'll definitely be back Hide
