Escape the busy city life and retreat to this idyllic thatched cottage tucked away in the picturesque village of East Chaldon. Perfect for a family getaway or a couples’ retreat, give your four-legged friend a new leash of life by spending the days exploring lush countryside, pebbled beaches, rugged coastal paths and charming eateries dotted en-route. Explore a range of adventures on a holiday at this unique cottage.

Traditional exteriors make the contemporary interior a joyous surprise. Modern and bright throughout, this cottage has been sympathetically renovated into a stunning getaway. Shake off the boots and wipe the paws before making your way through to the spacious sitting room where you can kick back and relax on the comfy sofas to watch TV or enjoy a snooze in front of the flame-effect electric fire. If the day’s exploring has left your pup mucky then the utility room will be a godsend! The garden room armchairs look through French doors to the rear garden, so your canine chum can scamper, sniff and roll in the grass to his heart’s content, regardless of the weather, whilst you watch from the warmth. For sunnier evenings, enjoy dining alfresco with a glass of wine on the terrace, and for the early mornings, let Rover roam as you sip a morning coffee, getting ready for the day of walkies ahead.

Lovely spacious cottage set in beautiful Dorset countryside. Very clean and comfortable. It suited us and the dog perfectly particularly as we could walk directly from the cottage to the coast in just a couple of (hilly) miles. The cottage is close to Lulworth and within easy reach of Studland and Dorchester. For a dog owner the small recreational Read morefield and bin close by was a real bonus. A drawback is hot water tank is too small to fill the bath and stairs awkward at top but Id visit again. Hide

Lovely quaint cottage in a good location for walks and trips to Lulworth Cove/Durdle Door, Swanage, Studland and Wareham. We enjoyed a couple of nice meals at the Jolly Sailor.

Excellent location everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. Lots of equipment to use. Beds were extremely comfortable. Garden was lovely to sit out in on an evening. Netflix available if you wanted to sign in. Everyone including the dogs had a great holiday would definitely go back there.

We had a comfortable stay in this well equipped, clean and characterful cottage in a peaceful village location. Well located for days out to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Disappointed that the local pub was not open but understandable in the circumstances. Really enjoyed our week here discovering the area.

We are a family of 4 and absolutely loved our week at Bubbs Cottage. Very pretty and cosy cottage in a lovely, quiet location , but still plenty to do in the surrounding area.

We and our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well equipped, comfortable cottage. With a great, dog friendly pub within walking distance and paths nearby to get you to the coastal path, it is the perfect place to stay and not have to use the car! We walked for miles most days and have returned home rested, relaxed and much fitter! The addRead moreed bonus of the warm utility room (also with washer/dryer) is brilliant for drying any coats/clothes should you get caught in the rain! Hide

Nice cottage. Stairs and low doorways could be a problem for some. Good location for travelling around the Dorset coast. Walking distance of great dog friendly pub.

A beautiful cottage, well equipped, great quiet location. An outstanding large enclosed garden, an amazing space for dogs. It should be noted that the 1.5 mile walk from the cottage to the coastal path is obviously hilly and quite hard going. Also it took us quite a while to find the cottage as the directions were inadequate.
