Located on the stunning waterways of the Norfolk Broads and within easy reach of wonderful coastline, this lovingly converted Windmill, which is surrounded by water and boasts panoramic views, certainly has a ‘license to thrill!’

This converted windmill at the heart of the Norfolk Broads has been lovingly styled in the spirit of James Bond, featuring contemporary decor, captivating views and private mooring. Perfectly suited to five humans and two hounds, you’ll soon be spending your evenings star gazing through the telescope and enjoying a martini, shaken not stirred.

Embrace the property’s unique allure from the moment you step inside, marvelling at the circular rooms that are harmoniously themed with Bond-esque paraphernalia and traditional Norfolk Broads charm. Cook up a storm in the industrial-style kitchen under the watchful eyes of Fido, before stepping into the delightful film-themed lounge to watch TV. Warm chilly paws by the wood burner or enjoy a nightcap outside onto the decked patio. The sleeping arrangements can be found by climbing the narrow, open-tread staircase, taking care of excitable mutts as you go! Scattered across all five floors, the bedrooms are lavish and unique, including a mezzanine-level double room accessed via steep spiral stairs, an open-plan single bed area on the second floor, and two sofa beds – one in the lounge, and one right at the top with a private viewing gallery. Completing the property is an impressive office and dressing area on the third floor, and a ground-floor shower room. Outside, the private landscaped garden features an outdoor-style shower, BBQ and a small pizza oven. Free permit parking is available within 700 yards of the property.

Access a plethora of walks from your doorstep or take advantage of the excellent fishing opportunities nearby. Head for the coast to watch seals basking at Horsey Gap, 7.5 miles away, or treat Fido to a scamper on the dog-friendly shores and golden sands of Caister Point and Winterton-on-Sea, both within 8 miles.

Wonderful and quirky, we really enjoyed staying in 0Os heaven and it was perfectly positioned for us to go sailing on the broads (& my husband to re-live his youth). The room with the big TV was a hit, surround sound and so many films to choose from a great introduction to Bond for our boys, aged 10 & 12, we watched several during the week and plaRead moreyed the bond monopoly! We had a lovely stay at the Windmill. Initially quite a trek to get luggage from the parking space to the Windmill especially after a 10 hour drive! A lot of thought has been put into the amazing & quirky decor we constantly kept finding things or artwork to admire!!. The view from the top level balcony is stunning. Great location. Hide

This windmill is AMAZING! The house itself is perfect for exploring the broads but it is so much more than that. The attention to detail is excellent and it is the quirkiest place we have ever stayed. The rope swing in the garden provided hours of entertainment for our children and the collection of Bond DVDs were a huge hit, as was the fishing! OuRead morer neighbours, THE COWS, were very friendly. We loved staying here and being able to explore The Norfolk Broads. NOTE:Check what linen is provided. Hide

Amazing location! It was such a delight to be able to see amazing wildlife right outside and we had some fantastic bird sightings including an owl. We didn't have great weather but the windmill was very warm and comfortable and was very well equipped. The stairs and beds are not designed for tall people, but my husband managed to cope at 6'4! It waRead mores fun to hire a boat for the day. The seals at Horsey beach and the walk to Thurne were highlights. There are some fantastic farm shops close by. Hide
