  • A real away-from-it-all rural location
Property code: BN046

This pretty farm building has been converted into a comfortable, modern property in an idyllic and remote location, perfect for a tranquil couples' break.

Explore many waymarked walking routes that run through the countryside and farm, directly from this home from home, keeping tails wagging with hours of walkies and fetch. A cosy bolthole for two, return to rest walk-weary legs, snuggled on the sofa to watch a movie as your canine companion dozes at your feet, recharging the batteries to do it all again tomorrow!

Cosy and welcoming, this barn conversion is modern and stylishly decorated. Your pup can potter in and out to the farmyard as you cook up a storm, before you enjoy a romantic meal for two with the fresh evening air drifting in. Wake to stunning views from the bedroom over the farm and forest, and take your morning coffee to the picturesque and enclosed courtyard to listen to the birdsong. The garden furniture and BBQ are perfect for summer evenings outside, making the most of this isolated position on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

The national park offers walking and cycling opportunities direct from the doorstep, so those with two and four legs will be in heaven! Porth-yr-Ogof (14 miles) is Wales’ largest cave opening where the more active can take part in caving. Take in the stunning Aberdulais Falls (8 miles) or visit the rare and wonderful Welsh wildlife at Cwm Clydach RSPB reserve (10 miles), where dogs are welcome on a lead. Further afield, dash along magnificent sandy beaches at the Gower Peninsula (20 miles) and history lovers can enjoy the dramatic and atmospheric Carreg Cennen Castle (14 miles).
