Located on the coastal path in a picturesque seaside village, this beautiful late 19th century Grade II listed cottage makes a wonderful holiday home in breathtaking and tranquil surroundings.
Escape here for a taste of coastal living with the whole pack. A trip to the beach wouldn’t be complete without your four-legged friends so make sure you pack a lead and a bag or two of treats and bring them along, too. Just half a mile from Bamburgh Beach, explore the coast, castles and quaint villages close to home before returning to spend evenings raising a glass to fantastic times with special people.
Step inside and marvel at the cosy interior of this home-from-home. The lounge welcomes you to curl up and stay warm by the wood burner as furry tummies demand a tickle. Choose a book from the shelf and enjoy a moment of peace before filling the room with chatter as you decide on tomorrow’s plans with fellow guests. The kitchen is well-equipped for rustling up a tasty titbit or cooking a three-course meal to savour. Dine at the elegant dining table which is flooded with natural light and has access to outside. Make the most of the brilliant outdoor spaces – dogs can go mutts in the rear enclosed garden while you relax on the patio area. When it’s time for bed, one room sits on the ground floor while the remaining two are on the first floor – take care with sloping ceilings on this level. Soak in the first-floor bath or freshen up in the walk-in shower on the ground floor. Outside, driveway parking is provided plus windbreaks, bodyboards and buckets and spades.
Hop on the coastal path and search out stunning scenery with every twist and turn as you make your way along the beautiful coastline. Travel 2.5 miles to Seahouses Harbour where you and your hound can jump aboard a boat to the Farne Islands where fantastic wildlife awaits.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
