This neat little whitewashed cottage is perfectly located for a family or group of friends and their four-legged friend to get out and explore the glorious West Highland countryside. With a gently rippling burn running just next to the cottage and the beautiful shore of Laxford Bay less than half a mile away, there are plenty of lovely local walks to set tails wagging in delight. Sleeping five across three bedrooms and with a warm rug to keep Fido cosy at night, this welcoming single-storey property offers a comfortable stay for everyone.

In the heart of this light, bright cottage is a stylish and comfortable lounge, where the woodburner beckons you to warm your toes after a day out in the fresh air. Enjoy a meal in the neat kitchen/diner before settling down on the sofa for the evening with your canine companion at your feet. The fresh, neutral decor creates a calm and relaxing ambience, and the crisp, white bed linen ensures you will drift off into a blissful sleep. The walkers' paradise that is the West Highland Geopark offers endless opportunities for glorious walks and spectacular scenery – not to mention a plethora of new sights and smells for your four-legged friend to enjoy. Watch out for red deer and pine martens, or the golden eagles that soar overhead. Enthusiastic hikers will enjoy the relatively modest challenge of nearby Ben Stack with superb views over Loch Stack below. Further afield, head north towards to Kinlochbervie where you can stock up on supplies before visiting nearby Polin Beach. Excellent place to explore NW Sutherland. Nice fire, sea loch, waterfall, great dark night sky and the loudest stags. Mountain views of Ben Stack, Arkle and Foinhaven. Enclosed garden. David was kind and took us to the house after we got excited and drove past.

The cottage was really spacious and welcoming and we would recommend it as a perfect base for exploring the beautiful rugged north west of Scotland. parking was great with a big driveway right outside the front door. Heating, if needed, worked well, and a great utillity room and porch for bags, boots, coats etc. Would highly recommend this cottage.

Lovely remote setting, comfortable beds and sofas, clean and recently carpeted. All appliances in good working order. Plenty of fuel for the wood burning stove. Small items of kitchen equipment just adequate but not extensive.
