Immerse yourself in a fairy tale setting at this beautiful barn conversion just 3 miles outside the town of Honiton. Effortlessly blending period features with contemporary styling, this delightful property sleeps four people over two bedrooms and welcomes two canine companions. It’s the ideal accommodation choice for small families or groups of friends who want to explore the south Devon countryside with their pups by their side. You and your faithful friends will adore exploring the property’s 32 shared acres of lakes and woodlands during the day, and then coming home to stretch out in front of the glowing wood burner in the cottage’s cosy lounge each evening.

Step inside and you’ll find an elegant open-plan living space consisting of lounge, kitchen and dining areas. Take a moment to make yourself at home before rustling up some dinner in the country-style kitchen and eating in the charming dining area. Alternatively, head outside, fire-up the BBQ and dine alfresco in the Italianate-style covered courtyard - your pups can run free in the enclosed garden while you eat. After dinner, unwind in front of the TV in the lounge area while your pups snooze in front of the wood burner. When it’s time for bed, head up the solid wood staircase to the first floor, where you''ll find two charming bedrooms to choose from.

Pack up a picnic and head to the east end of Sidmouth Town Beach (12.5 miles), where dogs are welcome all year round. You’ll find plenty of rock pools to explore. Alternatively, make tails wag at the dog-friendly Fire Beacon Hill Nature Reserve (10 miles), which boasts panoramic views of Lyme Bay. Stunning peaceful location. We had an amazing stay here at the barn. It truly was a home away from home. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Hutchinhayes Barn is absolutely idyllic. A beautifully converted and luxuriously furnished stone barn set in a cobbled courtyard with far reaching views beyond the extensive grounds. The quiet, rural location is perfect for a relaxing break but close to the facilities at Honiton and just a short drive to the coast or the Blackdown Hills. We appreciRead moreated the thoughtful provisions provided for our arrival and the owner, Liz made us feel very welcome. After spending long days sightseeing, hiking and cycling it was a joy to return to the comfort of Hutchinhayes for a stroll round the meadows in the evening sunshine before indulging in a cream tea under the rose covered arbour in the courtyard. Hutchinhayes Barn is a very special place. Hide
