With rural views stretching towards The Lizard, this contemporary lodge makes a practical base for families or friends bringing their four-legged companions to Cornwall. The small development sits between the north and south coasts, with walking and cycling routes reached via the surrounding country lanes.
Inside, the lodge has a bright open-plan layout combining the kitchen, dining area and lounge, making it easy for everyone to relax together after a day outdoors. French doors open onto the south-facing decking, giving your four-pawed traveller easy access to the fresh air and views. Wooden cladding adds a nod to the area's rural character, and the table has room for the whole group to dine. After a day exploring Cornwall, the king-size bedroom provides a comfortable retreat, complete with an en-suite bathroom and spa bath. Two further bedrooms are arranged as twins but can be converted into doubles by prior arrangement. A separate family shower room is also handy for rinsing off after muddy walks or days beside the sea. The south-facing deck gives you a secure base for outdoor meals and evening drinks, with views towards The Lizard. After an active day, the hot tub is a relaxing place to sit beneath the night sky. There’s also a shared wildflower area and children's park within the development, giving younger guests somewhere to play. Parking is available at the lodge, and a welcome pack is provided on arrival.
Tail waggers can join sections of the South West Coast Path, while nearby bridleways provide another way to roam the countryside with an energetic hound. Falmouth (9.5 miles) is within easy reach for boat trips to explore the south coast, with many welcoming well-behaved pup onboard. For a seaside day out, head to the harbour town of St Ives (19.5 miles), where dogs can join you in many pubs and cafes. Some St Ives beaches have seasonal restrictions, but Bamaluz Beach is dog-friendly year-round.
