Your furry pal will have a tail-waggingly good time at this peaceful glamping retreat, which offers a doggy welcome pack and secure exercise areas. Explore country paths and trails or head out to the coast for long runs on beaches, then return for an evening of relaxation in your off-grid sanctuary.
Step onto the raised deck and lead your mutt into the pod, where compact living combines with a cosy atmosphere. With no technology to distract you, grab a good book and curl up on the sofa (it’s also a sofa bed for one or two additional guests) with your pet by your feet, lighting the wood burner on a chilly evening. Prepare simple meals in the kitchenette, which includes a two-ring hob and a fridge with ice box, and savour them at the dining table for four. A separate sleeping area contains a king-size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and hypoallergenic bedding. For refreshing rinses your private shower block – with a composing WC – is just a few steps across the deck. Energetic pups can rush around the enclosed garden, which has a large, sloping lawn, as you grill some local treats on the BBQ and enjoy the sunshine or a starlit evening. The site also offers three shared paddocks where hounds can play, a hot tub, gym, fairy trail and outdoor games. You’ll also have private, off-road parking for one car.
The farm estate spreads across 34 acres of Cornish countryside, and you’re welcome to take your furry friend to explore its woodland paths and nature trails. Six miles away, Hannafore Beach is woof-friendly all year round, and after runs in the surf it’s only a mile to reach the vibrant coastal town of Looe, where many of the shops and eateries welcome four-pawed companions.
