The welcoming lounge has a beamed ceiling, a lovely wood burner, comfortable seating and a TV, making an ideal space to snuggle up in the evening to watch a favourite movie or chat about the day. Exploring further, there’s a country-style kitchen/diner with everything you might need during your stay. The cottage also features a charmingly furnished king-size bedroom along with a bathroom. A stable door leads outside onto the enclosed courtyard shared with the neighbouring properties, providing a relaxing spot for you and your four-legged friends to unwind in the sun. The village location is very quiet, with the main daily soundtrack consisting of birdsong, the odd tractor and an occasional passing herd of cows or sheep!

Situated in the little village of Gamblesby, the cottage is ideally located for exploring the north-western corner of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its rugged moorlands and stunning views. The edge of the Lake District is just 15 miles to the west, with dog-friendly attractions including Lowther Castle and Gardens, Aira Force Waterfall, Lake Ullswater and the ruins of Shap Abbey all within 22 miles.
