Property code: OC-TYCAN

Complete with beamed ceilings and a traditional fireplace, this period cottage is situated within a large 19th century manor house close to the North Wales coast, 4 miles from Conwy. Shared gardens provide plenty of space for relaxed leisure time, whilst there are walks to be enjoyed in the stunning surroundings of the Snowdonia National Park.

Attractive original features ensure that this cottage is full of charm and is a delightful place to enjoy a holiday with family or friends and your two dogs. The lounge/diner is a relaxing space in which to spend cosy nights in and offers direct access to the shared gardens via the room’s French windows. Upstairs, both bedrooms, a double and a twin, are both light-filled spaces which have been finished in a timeless, understated style to ensure that they are both restful and relaxing. The views from the twin room are particularly beautiful, but please do be aware that there are sloping ceilings in this room and therefore some reduced head-height, as you may expect from a property of this period and style.

The whole of the Snowdonia National Park will be available to you when you stay at this property which is situated in the park’s north-eastern corner. There are many miles of walks to enjoy, as well as challenging climbs, as well as a purpose-built artificial wave pool located 4 miles from the cottage, offering surfing lessons as well as a water-based obstacle course and a children’s soft play centre. However, there is more to see and do in the area than outdoor pursuits, including the castles at Conwy and Beaumaris (4 and 27 miles), the National Trust gardens at Bodnant (4 miles), beaches on Wales’ north coast (5 miles), and the fabulous Welsh Mountain Zoo (9 miles).

Cottage was a perfect get away for us with our two dogs. Absolutely immaculate home from home in the most stunning location. Lovely owners who were so helpful and left a gorgeous welcome pack on arrival. Totally recommended if you are needing to stay in North Wales near Conwy.

Our stay at Ty Canol was fantastic. The owners Beth and Andrew couldnt be more attentive. So many bits in the cottage we had forgotten to bring but didnt need to worry as they were there. Breath taking views right from the living room. Our children loved being able to run outside and play and watch the fish.

We visit conwy for a holiday most years, and love the area. Ty Canol was by far the best cottage we've stayed in, clean, comfortable, plenty of storage space. For any artist out there, a wonderful place to draw the amazing view. The only noise was the sound of the lambs, bliss. Cannot wait to return
