Nestled in the grounds of a beautiful manor house, this lodge welcomes couples or families with up to four dogs to come and enjoy the lovely setting, though the luxurious private hot tub is best left to less furry members of your pack. Discover countryside walks from your doorstep, leave no stick unfetched in the surrounding woodland and unleash the hounds on some of the region’s spectacular, award-winning beaches.

The open-plan nature of this lovely lodge gives a light and airy feel alongside a distinctively Scandinavian style. A comfortable lounge area offers plush sofa seating where you can relax after an adventurous day. If you feel like cooking, the contemporary kitchen is a pleasure to use; if not, there is an on-site restaurant serving breakfasts, lunches, cream teas, and a la carte evening meals. With both indoor and outdoor dining areas available, with the latter fully enclosed, you can enjoy mealtimes at the lodge come rain or shine with your canine companions by your side. Take a dip in the bubbling hot tub and gaze up at the stars before turning in for the night, waking well-rested thanks to the comfortable beds and relaxing bedroom environments.

The lodge is right on the border of Exmoor National Park, where wonderful walkies await. Explore Exmoor’s high tors, beautiful wooded valleys and riverside rambles. With well-behaved dogs welcome, there's no need to leave any family member behind. No visit to North Devon is complete without a trip to the beach. Head to Newberry Beach, 5 miles away, for unrestricted year-round frolics and fun with your furry friends. Take a ride back in time on the Lynton and Lynmouth cliff railway (9 miles), a Victorian-era funicular, powered by water, which will carry you and Fido between these two picturesque coastal villages. Alternatively, just sit back, take in the beautifully manicured gardens surrounding your lodge, and enjoy spending quality time with loved ones.

This is our 3rd visit to kentisbury and our 3rd lodge, the location is very private with no opposite lodge so great for our 4 dogs, the lodge layout is great with 2 lots of folding doors to let outside in. The lodges could do with some tlc but fine for our needs. We will definitely be back.

Exmoor View is (in my opinion) one of the most attractive lodges in an already-beautiful location. The gardened view from the front is the stand-out feature. Low light pollution, so stargazing from the hot tub after dark is a must. The staff at the coach house are really pleasant and helpful.

A great lodge in a fantastic location. We stayed for a week as a family of four with a dog, using it as a base to explore north Devon, never more than 20 minutes from anywhere we visited. While some comments about the lodge feeling a little worn are fair, the star rating and cost reflect this. Overall very pleased with the property. The level of equipment was excellent, the location was stunning. A really enjoyable holiday, great value for money. The only negative I can think of was the lack of adjacent parking, although this was only an issue when packing and unpacking the car.

At first glance, the property looked really good. Unfortunately, on closer inspection, it was obvious that the actuality couldnt live up to the expectation. The property was tired and in need of a lot of TLC. The floors were de-laminating as were the doors. It was in need of a good clean, especially in the corners, under furniture and the radiator.Read more The curtains liners had black mould. The hot tub had a broken hinge on the cover. The deck needed jet cleaning. This was Lodge Number 17. Hide

The property was not clean. The kitchen was laid out well but there was a severe shortage of basic kitchen tools such as a spatula, serving bowls etc The TV was continually losing connection. Overall the lodge was very tired. All the staff at the Grange were excellent.
