We had a lovely few days at Meadow Cottage. The cottage was clean and comfortable and deceptively spacious. Being there over the bank holiday heatwave, we made use of the enclosed seating area to the front. Set on a working farm, we had lovely views from the upstairs lounge and walked from the cottage to the Chee Dale Stepping Stones on the MonsRead moreal Trail one evening once it had cooled and the crowds had gone home! Owners were helpful and welcoming, would definitely recommend. Hide

Really great location - a 2 min walk down the farm track to Chee Dale and 10 min drive to Buxton or Bakewell. The cottage was lovely, clean, and as described.

Great little, comfortable cottage for four people, or up to six if two couples are happy to share. We chose it for the spacious, cosy communal area with lovely views over the fields, and for its ideal location with easy footpath access to the Monsal Trail. Many other Peak District walks are a short drive away. Parking for three cars was no problem Read morein the farmyard. Eating out was easy (the nearest pub about 10 minutes away), or staying in and cooking at home thanks to the well-equipped kitchen. Hide

Fantastic location to explore the Peak District. The cottage had everything we could possibly wish for and was absolutely perfect in every way. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, every home comfort and a great place to relax and enjoy. Would definitely recommend and already looking at next year.

Great location for walking in Wyedale and Cheedale. Brilliantly designed accommodation that feels spacious. Close enough to drive to Buxton for food supplies. Quiet. Enjoyed watching the cows, sheep and swallows.

Lovely property on a working farm. Ideally placed for exploring the Peak District, just the farm road away from the A6, but away from any traffic noise. Nicely converted farm buildings, well equipped and spacious.
