With this cosy bolthole welcoming two canine chums too, walkers on two legs and four can enjoy numerous country trails and paths from the doorstep of this delightfully unusual holiday home. The shepherds hut is perfect for a restful nights sleep and there is a sofa to relax on, whilst a separate kitchen provides space for cooking delicious meals. With a secure shed for you to store mountain bikes, fishing tackle or even kayaks, spend the days walking, hiking and cycling before returning to recharge the batteries with a glass of wine in front of the warming wood burner.

Simply stylish with patterned soft furnishings complementing white wood-panelled walls and warm wooden floors, the hut makes for a unique sleeping experience. Relax with a movie as your pup snoozes in front of the wood burner, and wake to simply stunning views. The characterful country-style kitchen is in an adjacent building and has exposed beams, a feature fireplace and a table for romantic meals for two. Outside the hut you will also find the Shower and WC and Utility room which is in an adjacent building. The garden has pretty borders, and a patio, perfect for morning coffee or an evening BBQ, taking a moment to stargaze on a clear night.

The shepherd's hut was clean and comfortable (v. comfy bed!) and together with the facilities in the adjoining barn (kitchen area and utility/shower room) it was well equipped. Nice to have a couple of areas to sit out, and the adjacent fields for walking the dog on the lead. It was in a lovely quiet location below the Wrekin.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the scenery very much. The facilities were great and we loved the shepherd's hut. I was a bit concerned about going out of the hut to the toilet in the night, to the attached kitchenette/bathroom but it was lit by an outside light and had hand rails by the steps so I did not have a problem. This was such a lovely stay & location. Derek the farmer was v welcoming & directed us to a field where we would let our dog off lead to exercise. The Shepherd's hut was so cosy, but also cool in hot weather, & v pretty, & the bed v comfortable. The separate kitchen & bathroom set up worked v well. I was a little nervous about going out to the loo Read morein the night, & had to be aware of the steps, but it worked out fine, with good outside lights for the shepherd's hut & the barn. Gorgeous place! Hide
