Sitting superbly close to the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, grab your shoes, pop on some leads, pack up a picnic and head out to explore the local landscapes with your four-legged friends in tow. Escape the everyday and adventure to your heart’s content before returning home to this glorious bolthole for a quiet night in or an al-fresco evening on the patio.

Step inside and find yourself in the open-plan living space where light floods in through a large window. Relax in style in the comfortable lounge and, on sunny days, throw open the French doors to let the fresh air flood inside as your canine companions stroll outside for a stretch. The kitchen has plenty of room for all hands on deck to help cook up a storm or you could prepare goodies for the BBQ on sizzling summer nights. When evenings are cool, the electric fire promises to keep tails and toes warm as you cosy up before bed. Rest heads and drift off to sleep in the bedrooms that are reached by climbing stairs to the first floor; take care as some of the upstairs rooms have slightly sloping ceilings, adding to the traditional charm! Freshen up with ease as one en-suite shower room and an additional family bathroom with a shower over the bath should quicken the morning queue to get set for the day!

8 miles away, devour fish and chips at Seahouses and hop on a boat to the Farne Islands. For a splash in the sea with sand underfoot and paw, travel 10 miles to Beadnell Bay, or 6 miles to Bamburgh where the historic castle also awaits.

Holiday was sadly ruined by the four days of power cuts. Paid for self-catering and were unable to cook for four days or use the washing machine. Owners simply said it was not their responsibility as there was several surrounding properties affected. They didnt offer any compensation, sickening as they own a 24hour restaurant/takeaway establishmentRead more down the road that was unaffected by the power outage. This stay exceeded our expectations. The cottage was warm and comfortable and contained all the equipment to make our break so pleasurable. The welcoming was warm and friendly and the staff were at hand to answer any queries. A lovely cottage in a lovely quiet village. Well equipped with a great pool on site. Great to be opposite a pub, be it quite pricey. It had excellent food though. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and we would stay there again if the mattress in the double bedroom was replaced.

Had a great stay at Warren view, perfect location for touring the area. House had all utensils and equipment that we needed. The private use of the pool/sauna was a huge plus, we used it every day. The White Swan pub across the road is a lovely pub for a drink in the sun. Would have preferred if Warren view garden was fully enclosed, and the image Read moreshown is a bit misleading as you are only renting the left hand side of the picture, not the whole place. But overall a lovely break away. Hide
