This cosy yurt enjoys a peaceful setting amongst a beautiful meadow, close to the village of Bronington and the Wales/England border. Sleeping two humans and two hounds, it’s perfect for couples looking to fully switch off and connect with nature. Explore the endless walking routes on your doorstep, or hop in the car to reach The Clwydian Range or Dee Valley (both within 15 miles).
The holiday retreat has an open-plan layout, with wooden floors, natural tones and textures, and an array of creature comforts to make you feel at home. Taking centre stage is a sumptuous queen-size bed, and you’ll also have storage for all your holiday attire and a cute table for sharing mealtimes together. The sofa bed can accommodate a further two guests if required. There is a small cooking area for preparing light bites, with further cooking equipment available in the shared onsite kitchen. On chilly nights, fire up the wood burner to create a warm dozing spot for the pups. The private wet room, with a shower and WC, is in a separate, shared building. Outside the yurt is a private seating area with a BBQ and firepit, surrounded by grass for the hounds to play on. You’ll also have access to a recreational space with games and dining areas, as well as the wider meadow for dog walking. Private parking is available for two cars.
Just across the border is the charming market town of Whitchurch (6 miles), full of timber-framed medieval buildings and elegant Georgian townhouses. The town has a great range of traditional pubs and friendly cafes, many welcoming four-pawed visitors. After a potter around the shops and markets, enjoy a peaceful stroll along the towpath of the Shropshire Union Canal or head to nearby Llyn Bedynn (1.5 miles) for a relaxing walk around the lake.
